The Foundation may grant funds to qualified agencies engaged in activities that DDF identifies as beneficial to the community.
DDF has the discretion to select the states and communities for its grants.
Currently, our focus areas include Miami-Dade County, Florida, and Monterey County, California.
Grant Making Criteria
IRS Recognized 501c3 charity (not classified as a private foundation)
Located in or benefitting residents of Miami-Dade County, Florida or Monterey County, CA.
At least 5 years of successful financial history.
Areas of concentration: cultural, educational, health and human services, community services, youth activities.
Grants are generally awarded for a one-year grant period.
Returning grantees are eligible to apply for new funding once their current grant period has ended (12 months after notification date) and their final report has been submitted to and approved by the Dunspaugh-Dalton Foundation.
Previous funding does not guarantee future charitable support.
We do not accept more than one Letter of Intent (LOI) or Grant Request from an organization in a 365 day period.
